Lot.405 Atelier Coat Black
This atelier coat is T.T's original reconstruction, combining elements from 1940s American and British work coats. Based on AW21 Lot.401 Engineer Coat, we removed the front belt and modified the sewing specifications suited for the fabrics. SUMI DYED BLACK uses a herringbone nep tweed dyed with sumi black ink. The herringbone pattern only manifests as subtle shades, oozing Japanese aesthetics. BLACK features tweed made from Suffolk wool. The natural springiness of the fibers keeps material airy, lightweight, and highly insulating.
Original Bakelite buttons with art deco style engraving are used.
